Peter Edward Kassig Beheaded By ISIS - Twilight Language

"Kassig, 26. changed his first name to Abdul Rahman after becoming a Muslim while in captivity.

The meaning of Abdul literally and normally means "Slave of the," but English translations also often translate it to: "Servant of the."

Rahman (Arabic: رحمان‎, Raḥmān) is an Arabic male name. It is the elative of Raḥim, based on the triconsonantal root R-Ḥ-M. In Islam, the name ar-Raḥmān, meaning "The Beneficent, The Most Merciful in Essence, The Compassionate, The Most Gracious" is considered most special of the Names of God in Islam. Rahman can be short for Abdur Rahman "servant of al-Rahman"; i.e. "servant of God". With nisba, the name becomes Rahmani and is used as a surname.

Kassig/Rahman is the 5th Westerners to be beheaded in this current cycle of ISIS murders.
Peter Kassig's middle name is Edward.

On November 16, 1272, while travelling during the Ninth Crusade, Prince Edward becomes King of England upon Henry III of England's death, but he will not return to England for nearly two years to assume the throne."

Senior ISIS Leader Killed In Pakistan

Well good news for a change. The ISIS monsters are falling one by one and in groups.

More blessings from the sky to.come... 😉

How ISIS beheads it's victims

"The barbarity of the beheading is beyond comprehension. Aside from that, it is the way it is carried out. Rather than a single stroke with a well-honed sword, apparently the head is practically sawed off with a serrated knife. What kind of mentality would afflict this on someone? As if the victim, who is not only a symbolic sacrificial victim held as responsible for a nation, but also apparently has to be tortured with a slow, gruesome and agonizing death. These people are monstrous beyond any understanding.

Evil ISIS Frenchman

PARIS (AP) — A young Frenchman is believed to be among the killers on an Islamic State propaganda video showing a beheaded American aid worker and the deaths of more than a dozen Syrian soldiers, France's top security official said Monday.

Interior Minister Bernard Cazeneuve said there is a "strong presumption" that Maxime Hauchard is among the group of Islamic extremist fighters in the video released over the weekend. He urged young people in France to "open your eyes to the terrible reality" of the militant group.

Cazeneuve said authorities were analyzing the video and have been investigating Hauchard, who is around 22 years old and from west of Paris. The convert to Islam gave an interview to France's BFM television in July, telling the network he had helped in the capture of Mosul, the Iraqi city whose fall eventually prompted the United States to resume military operations there.

"I call solemnly and seriously on all our citizens, and notably our young people who are the primary target of the terrorist propaganda, to open your eyes to the terrible reality of the actions of Daesh," Cazeneuve said, using an Arabic acronym for the group. "These are criminals that are building a system of barbarity."

French citizens make up the largest contingent of European jihadi fighters who have joined extremists in Syria and Iraq. According to the Paris prosecutor's office, about 1,100 people have been placed under surveillance, and 95 people face charges.

Hauchard, who is believed to have arrived in Syria in 2013, is among those under judicial investigation, Cazeneuve said.

In the July interview, Hauchard said he was expecting and hoping for death.

"From a personal point of view, my objective is to be a martyr," Hauchard said.

ISIS 150,000-200,000 Strong

An unconfirmed report, that is all.

RIP Peter Kassig

BEIRUT (AP) — The Islamic State group has beheaded Peter Kassig, releasing a video Sunday showing a masked militant standing over the severed head of a man it said was the former U.S. Army Ranger-turned-aid worker, who was seized while delivering relief supplies in Syria last year.

President Barack Obama confirmed Kassig's slaying after a U.S. review of the video, which also showed the mass beheadings of a dozen Syrian soldiers.

The 26-year-old Kassig, who founded an aid group to help Syrians caught in their country's brutal civil war, "was taken from us in an act of pure evil by a terrorist group that the world rightly associates with inhumanity," Obama said in a statement.

He denounced the extremist group, which he said "revels in the slaughter of innocents, including Muslims, and is bent only on sowing death and destruction."

The slain hostage's parents, Ed and Paula Kassig, said they were "heartbroken" by their son's killing, but "incredibly proud" of his humanitarian work. Kassig "lost his life as a result of his love for the Syrian people and his desire to ease their suffering," the parents said in a statement from Indianapolis.

With Kassig's death, the Islamic State group has killed five Westerners it was holding. American journalists James Foley and Steven Sotloff were beheaded, as were British aid workers David Haines and Alan Henning.
Unlike previous videos of slain Western hostages, the footage released Sunday did not show the decapitation of Kassig or the moments leading up to his death.

"This is Peter Edward Kassig, a U.S. citizen ... who fought against the Muslims in Iraq," said the black-clad militant, who spoke with a British accent that was distorted in the video, apparently to disguise his identity. Previous videos featured a militant with a British accent that the FBI says it has identified, though it hasn't named him publicly.

The footage released Sunday identifies the militants' location as Dabiq, a town in northern Syria that the Islamic State group uses as the title of its English-language propaganda magazine and where they believe an apocalyptic battle between Muslims and their enemies will occur.

The high-definition video also showed the beheadings of about a dozen men identified as Syrian military officers and pilots, all dressed in blue jumpsuits. The black-clad militant warns that U.S. soldiers will meet a similar fate.
"We say to you, Obama: You claim to have withdrawn from Iraq four years ago," the militant said. "Here you are: You have not withdrawn. Rather, you hid some of your forces behind your proxies." A U.S.-led coalition is targeting the Islamic State group in airstrikes, supporting Western-backed Syrian rebels, Kurdish fighters and the Iraqi military.

Kassig, who served in the U.S. Army's 75th Ranger Regiment, a special operations unit, deployed to Iraq in 2007. After being medically discharged, he returned to the Middle East in 2012 and formed a relief group, Special Emergency Response and Assistance, to aid Syrian refugees.

A certified EMT, Kassig had delivered food and medical supplies and provided trauma care to wounded Syrians before being captured in eastern Syria on Oct. 1, 2013. Friends say he converted to Islam in captivity and took the first name Abdul-Rahman.

In a statement issued as he flew back to Washington from the Asia-Pacific region, Obama said Kassig "was a humanitarian who worked to save the lives of Syrians injured and dispossessed" by war. The president offered prayers and condolences to Kassig's family.
"We cannot begin to imagine their anguish at this painful time," he said.

Burhan Agha, a Syrian who worked with Kassig in Lebanon, wept when recounting his friend's humanitarian work.

"If I could apologize to each American, one by one, I would, because Peter died in Syria, while he was helping the Syrian people," Agha told The Associated Press by telephone from Switzerland, where he is seeking asylum.

"Those who killed him claimed to have done it in the name of Islam. I am a Muslim and am from Syria. ... (His killers) are not Muslims."
British Prime Minister David Cameron said he was "horrified by the cold-blooded murder," saying that the Islamic State group had "again shown their depravity."

In previous videos showing the beheadings of the two American journalists and two British aid workers, the hostages were shown kneeling in orange jumpsuits as they were forced to make speeches before their killer lifted a knife to their throats.

The latest video did not show Kassig being beheaded. And unlike previous videos, it did not show other Western captives or directly threaten to behead anyone else. It also had lingering close-ups on some militants' exposed faces, a few of whom appeared to be foreigners.

The video appeared on websites used in the past by the Islamic State group, which now controls a third of Syria and Iraq.

The Islamic State group still holds other captives, including British photojournalist John Cantlie, who has appeared in several videos delivering statements for the group, likely under duress, and a 26-year-old American woman captured last year in Syria while working for aid groups. U.S. officials have asked that the woman not be identified out of fears for her safety.

The video appeared to be part of continuous efforts to strike at the U.S., which is leading an aerial campaign against the group that began in August in Iraq and spread to Syria the following month.

The video came two days after a recording by the group's leader, Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, was uploaded to the Internet. The militant leader warned that the U.S.-led coalition's campaign had failed and it would eventually have to send ground troops into battle.

The group has declared a self-styled Islamic caliphate in areas under its control, which it governs according to its violent interpretation of Shariah law, including massacring rebellious tribes and selling women and children of religious minorities into slavery.

The group's militants have also beheaded and shot dead hundreds of captives, mostly Syrian and Iraqi soldiers, during its sweep across the two countries, and has celebrated its mass killings in extremely graphic videos.

The Islamic State group has its roots in al-Qaida's Iraqi affiliate but was expelled from the global terror network over its brutal tactics and refusal to obey orders to confine its activities to Iraq. It became even more extreme amid the bloody civil war in neighboring Syria and grew strong enough to launch a lightning offensive across Iraq.

Syria's war began as an uprising against President Bashar Assad. Activists say that conflict has killed more than 200,000 people.

ISIS Cowards Afraid Of Being Killed By Women Fighters, Losing Virgins And Honor

From an article on a Christian website:

"As it is believed that many jihadists fear that being killed by a woman would cost them their promised "paradise" in the afterlife, it is worth noting that a Kurdish female is one of two commanders leading the resistance against the Islamic State's quest to capture the strategic Syrian border town of Kobane.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights told Agence France Presse that a female commander, going by the pseudonym of Narin Afrin, is co-commanding the Kurdish peshmerga forces that have been defending the key border town since the beginning of ISIS' assault on the city Sept. 16.

Although the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights stated it believes that ISIS now effectively controls at least half of the town with over 160,000 people having fled, Afrin leads the Kurdish People's Protection Unit (YPG) that has been instrumental, thus far, in preventing the full capture of the city."

Islamic Militant Shoots Canada's Parliament, Killed By Heroic Sergent At Arms - Yahoo News

OTTAWA, Ontario (AP) — Two deadly attacks in three days against members of the military stunned Canadians and raised fears their country was being targeted for reprisals for joining the U.S.-led air campaign against an extremist Islamic group in Iraq and Syria.
"We will not be intimidated. Canada will never be intimidated," Prime Minister Stephen Harper vowed in a nationally televised address hours after a masked gunman killed a soldier standing guard at Ottawa's war memorial shortly before 10 a.m. on Wednesday. The suspect then stormed Parliament in a dramatic attack that was stopped cold when he was shot to death by the ceremonial sergeant-at-arms.

Harper called it the country's second terrorist attack in three days. A man Harper described as an "ISIL-inspired terrorist" on Monday ran over two soldiers in a parking lot in Quebec, killing one and injuring another before being shot to death by police. Like the suspect from Wednesday's shooting in Ottawa, he was a recent convert to Islam.

Investigators offered little information about the gunman in Ottawa, identified as 32-year-old petty criminal Michael Zehaf-Bibeau. But Harper said: "In the days to come we will learn about the terrorist and any accomplices he may have had."

Witnesses said the soldier posted at the National War Memorial, identified as Cpl. Nathan Cirillo, was gunned down at point-blank range by a man carrying a rifle and dressed all in black, his face half-covered with a scarf. The gunman appeared to raise his arms in triumph, then entered Parliament, a few hundred yards away, where dozens of shots soon rang out, according to witnesses.
People fled the complex by scrambling down scaffolding erected for renovations, while others took cover inside as police with rifles and body armor took up positions outside and cordoned off the normally bustling streets around Parliament.

On Twitter, Canada's justice minister and other government officials credited 58-year-old sergeant-at-arms Kevin Vickers with shooting the attacker just outside the MPs' caucus rooms. Vickers serves a largely ceremonial role at the House of Commons, carrying a scepter and wearing rich green robes, white gloves and a tall imperial hat.

At least three people were treated for minor injuries.

In Washington, President Barack Obama condemned the shootings as "outrageous" and said: "We have to remain vigilant." The U.S. Embassy in Ottawa was locked down as a precaution, and security was tightened at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier at Arlington National Cemetery just outside Washington.
Harper vowed that the attacks will "lead us to strengthen our resolve and redouble our efforts" to keep the country safe and work with Canada's allies to fight terrorists.

Court records that appear to be the gunman's show that he had a long rap sheet, with a string of convictions for assault, robbery, drug and weapons offenses, and other crimes.
Tony Zobl said he witnessed the Canadian soldier being gunned down from his fourth-floor window directly above the National War Memorial, a 70-foot (21.34-meter), arched granite cenotaph, or tomb, with bronze sculptures commemorating World War I.
"I looked out the window and saw a shooter, a man dressed all in black with a kerchief over his nose and mouth and something over his head as well, holding a rifle and shooting an honor guard in front of the cenotaph point-blank, twice," Zobl told the Canadian Press news agency. "The honor guard dropped to the ground, and the shooter kind of raised his arms in triumph holding the rifle."

The Canadian Broadcasting Corp. had video of the gunman going to his car alone with his weapon after the shooting at the memorial. The car was later spotted parked in front of Parliament Hill, just down the block.

Cabinet minister Tony Clement tweeted that at least 30 shots were heard inside Parliament, where Conservative and Liberal MPs were holding their weekly caucus meetings.
"I was just taking off my jacket to go into caucus. I hear this pop, pop, pop. Possibly 10 shots, don't really know. Thought it was dynamite or construction rather than anything else," said John McKay, a member of Parliament.

He said security guards then came rushing down the halls, herding them toward the back of the buildings.

"And then we started talking to another woman and she was apparently inside the library of Parliament, saw the fellow, wearing a hoodie, carrying a gun," McKay said, "and then the implications of this start to sink in."
The attack came two days after a recent convert to Islam killed the Canadian soldier and injured another with his car in a parking lot in the Quebec city of Saint-Jean-Sur-Richelieu. The killer had been on the radar of federal investigators, who feared he had jihadist ambitions and seized his passport when he tried to travel to Turkey.

Canada had raised its domestic terror threat level from low to medium Tuesday because of what it called "an increase in general chatter from radical Islamist organizations." As recently as Tuesday, Canada sent eight fighter jets to the Mideast to join the battle against Islamic State.

azspot.net ISIS Quote

ISIS’s ranks swell when we refuse to listen to young men, when we dismiss them as backward, scary, or members of ‘the other team’, we make terrorist groups that much more appealing. This obviously doesn’t excuse their choices, and it doesn’t mean we’re to blame for their actions, but it does mean we are participating in global sectarianism rather than working to bridge gaps and be emissaries of peace.

Dutch Biker Gangs From The Netherlands To Fight ISIS

The Hague (AFP) - The Dutch public prosecutor said on Tuesday that motorbike gang members who have reportedly joined Kurds battling the Islamic State group in Iraq are not necessarily committing any crime.
"Joining a foreign armed force was previously punishable, now it's no longer forbidden," public prosecutor spokesman Wim de Bruin told AFP.

You just can't join a fight against the Netherlands," he told AFP after reports emerged that Dutch bikers from the No Surrender gang were fighting IS insurgents alongside Kurds in northern Iraq.

The head of No Surrender, Klaas Otto, told state broadcaster NOS that three members who travelled to near Mosul in northern Iraq were from Dutch cities Amsterdam, Rotterdam and Breda.

A photograph on a Dutch-Kurdish Twitter account shows a tattooed Dutchman called Ron in military garb, holding a Kalashnikov assault rifle while sat with a Kurdish comrade.
Video footage apparently from a Kurdish broadcaster shows an armed European man with Kurdish fighters saying in Dutch: "The Kurds have been under pressure for a long time."

Many countries including the Netherlands have been clamping down on their nationals trying to join IS jihadists who have taken over swathes of Iraq and Syria.

Measures include confiscating would-be jihadists' passports before travelling and threatening prosecution should they return.
"The big difference with IS is that it's listed as a terrorist group," said De Bruin.

"That means that even preparing to join IS is punishable."

Dutch citizens could not however join the Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK), as it is blacklisted as a terrorist organisation by Ankara and much of the international community, De Bruin said.

Dutch citizens fighting on the Kurdish side would of course be liable to prosecution if they committed crimes such as torture or rape, De Bruin said.

"But this is also happening a long way away and so it'll be very difficult to prove," said De Bruin.

Source: ISIS Consumes American and Western Products

An anonymous source from The Middle East has sent me an email detailing that ISIS does in fact consume American products, much like evil jihad mastermind and Al Queda leader Osama Bin Laden did.

Products consumed by ISIS fighters and members include the following:

Pepsi, Coke, Hershey candid bars, Kit Kats, various American manufactured sports drinks, water, energy bars and other products. All I can say is.... Hypocrites.

Kurds Vow To Fight ISIS "To The Bitter End"

Yahoo News reported today that anti ISIS Kurdish forces have vowed to fight ISIS "to the bitter end" and to the "last man".

Need I say more?

I salute these brave Heroes and wish them luck in their fight and struggle against great evil, an evil equal to the Nazi's.

Ebola Virus Must Be Used Against ISIS

Obe strategy to defeat ISIS and their fighters is to infect them with the Ebola virus, either by dropping bombs on them infected with Ebola or simply by having a few people do a Heroic sacrifice by not only letting themselves get infected by Ebola personally but then also letting themselves get captured by ISIS fighters.

This would weaken and perhaps destroy a certain percentage of ISIS fighters.

Just a thought, however.

Jihad John Identified By FBI

The infamous beheader in at least 2 ISIS/ISUL videos of 2 American journalists who were beaheded (plus a British aid worker) known in the media and social media simply as "Jihad John" has been formally identified by sources and intelligence within the FBI, yahoo news and other news agencies confirmed and reported yesterday

The masked lopper (thank you for this term, Skyrim!) with the British accent and a tendency to brutally execute Westerners in accordance with false Islamic beliefs and laws has been using the media and social media for propaganda purposes, ISIS recruitment and to get ISIS message across the world, while condemning The West and the very media or is accusing.

Hypocrisy aside, let's hope Jihad John gets what he so justly deserves for his war crimes and crimes against Humanity and his fellow Man... And that is either being captured alive and sent to rot in jail for the remainder of his life or a swift, just and necessary execution.

A Message To ISIS Pigs: Surrender And Repent Or Face Death From Our Military!

Dead bodies of ISIS fighters and pigs are abandoned by their friends in the battlefield.

My message to ISIS and is simple: Either you surrender to American/Iraqi forces and repent for all
of your wicked, evil and Satanic, barbaric ways of harming and killing innocent people that did
nothing wrong in the first place and renounce your false, evil and pigshit, man made way of life
or face death from America and our Allies, including those in the Middle East or maybe you can
simply commit suicide or run and hide somewhere?

ISIS is the heart and soul of Satan.

A Few Thoughts On President Obama And The ISIS Situation/Crisis

IRAQ ISIS group situation map stats of military might in surrounding countries and religious groups

I realize that President Obama is hesitant to deploy U.S. ground troops against ISIS (for fear of repeating GWB's mistakes and being responsible for American causalities) and wants other nations to join in (so terrorist groups will not strictly target the U.S. in retaliation) but a ground war is necessary to stop ISIS, not just supporting anti ISIS rebels, which is not enough, nor airstrikes or special ops. We also need more world leaders like Putin to strongly join in the effort of destroying and eradicating ISIS from The Middle East (and other nations too, where present) there is too much inaction going on, not enough being done, innocent people are dying everyday where ISIS and as long as ISIS in power, I say President Obama hand everything over to our nation's top military leaders, generals and advisers and leave them to do the rest.

ISIS Cowards and Pigs Hone Social Media as a Weapon Of Terror, Death And Threats

Pig Faced Coward And Masked  Executioner of Western Journalist Steven Sotloff,
Video Taken In The Very Desert Where He Was Killed.
Excerpt from an article in The New York Times:

"The videos deliver in miniature the same chilling message as the footage of the towers falling 13 years ago: Everything has changed, no one is safe and the United States is impotent against true believers. It is a memo from a foe that has everything to gain by goading America into a fight in a faraway land where its enemies are legion. The tactic worked back then.

And while the videos convey barbarism on an elemental level, dismissing them as crude or one-dimensional would be wrong. The Islamic State in Iraq and Syria, known as ISIS, clearly has a sophisticated production unit, with good cameras, technically proficient operators and editors who have access to all the best tools.

What they made are modern media artifacts being used to medieval ends. The videos serve as both propaganda and time machine, attempting to wipe away centuries of civilization and suggest that the dreamed-of caliphate flourishes and blood is cheap currency.

The real warriors in those videos are the journalists who were killed, James Foley and Steven Sotloff, who were trying to do a terrible, dangerous job when they were grabbed opportunistically in Syria. Innocent people end up tragically caught in the crossfire of war, but the targeting of journalists who provide witness for the rest of us is particularly appalling to people in the news business."

The article then goes on:

"The real warriors in those videos are the journalists who were killed, James Foley and Steven Sotloff, who were trying to do a terrible, dangerous job when they were grabbed opportunistically in Syria. Innocent people end up tragically caught in the crossfire of war, but the targeting of journalists who provide witness for the rest of us is particularly appalling to people in the news business".

Followed by:

"We are then in a desert, the horizon carefully situated at the midpoint of a two-camera shoot. There is thought put into the wardrobe selection; the victim is dressed in an iconic orange jumpsuit — a reference to detainees in American custody — and the killer costumed more as a ninja than a jihadist, all in black and his face obscured, holding a small knife and holster.

The actual murder is performed in the unflinching sunlight of the desert. (I thought more than once of the brutally clear morning of Sept. 11, 2001.) Because sound is difficult to capture on a windy expanse of arid land, the victim is wearing a lapel mike. Mr. Sotloff introduces himself in sober tones and begins to read a scripted statement off what seems to be a teleprompter.
The executioner is cocky and ruthless, seemingly eager to get to the task at hand. When he does attack his bound victim, only the beginning is shown and then there is a fade to black. Once the picture returns, the head of the victim is carefully arranged on the body, all the violence of the act displayed in a bloody tableau. There is another cutaway, and the next potential victim is shown with a warning that he may be next."

Then:

“For the guys who signed up for ISIS — including, especially, the masked man with the English accent who wielded the knife — killing is the real point of being there,” he wrote."

The author of the article concludes it by stating this:

"We don’t want to look, but some of us do and the rest of us talk about it. ISIS seems to understand that the same forces that carried the Ice Bucket Challenge’s message of uplift — the desire to be part of something, to be in the know — can be used to spread fear and terror as well."

Well said and Social Media such as Facebook, youtube and Twitter needs to ban content like this post haste, and people that see it in videos need to report it ASAP as well.

Evil Leader And Pig Face Coward Of ISIS Abu Bakr Killed In U.S. Airstrikes

"Iraqi forces reported that the head of the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) 'Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi' was killed in U.S airstrikes.

"Despite that Iraqi and U.S sources confirmed the killing of Abu Bajr al-Baghdadi, but the White House did not confirmed it yet", AFP reported.

Three senior members of the Islamic State of Iraq and al-Sham (ISIS) - including an aide to its leader - were killed in a U.S. airstrike in Iraq, a senior Iraqi security official told NBC News Thursday. The strike on the ISIS stronghold of Mosul killed Abu Hajar Al-Sufi, an aide to Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, as well as an explosives operative and the military leader of nearby Tel Afar, the source said on condition of anonymity. Al Arabiya cited the Iraqi Defense Ministry saying Baghdadi's aide had been killed.

Pentagon Spokesman Col. Steve Warren could not confirm the deaths and said ISIS leaders had not been targeted. But he added that if ISIS leaders were embedded "inside troop formations they are likely to be killed." The U.S. has been carrying out airstrikes across the country's north after the brutal terror group gained ground in a murderous sweep in June." Source: abna

Steven Sotloff's Hero Friend Challenges ISIS's Evil & Satanic Leader Abu Bakr To Debate On Islam

“I have a message to Abu Bakr,” Barak Barfi, a friend of Sotloff’s and family spokesperson, said in heated Arabic before television cameras late Wednesday, referring to Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, head of ISIS. “You said Ramadan is a month of mercy but where is your mercy? You speak of Islam and the Holy Koran but I know the Koranic verses.”

Barfi then quoted a verse in the Muslim holy book about God’s disdain for oppressors.

“Abu Bakr, I am ready to debate you” Barfi said. “I come in peace, I don’t have a sword in my hand, I am ready for your answer.”

Barfi’s personal challenge to al-Baghdadi came after he read the first statement from Sotloff’s family since his death was confirmed by U.S. officials Tuesday. Sotloff appeared to have been murdered on camera by an ISIS fighter. -Source and for more on this story: ABC NEWS

President Obama Seeks Out To Plan To Go On An Offensive Against Islamic State And Smash, Destroy It

An excerpt:

"I just want the American people to understand the nature of the threat and how we're going to deal with it and to have confidence that we'll be able to deal with it," Obama said in an interview with NBC's "Meet the Press" that aired on Sunday. The interview was conducted in Washington on Saturday.

"The next phase is now to start going on some offense," he said.

The Wednesday speech will come a day ahead of the anniversary of the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks, when al Qaeda militants flew hijacked planes into the World Trade Center in New York and the Pentagon, killing about 3,000 people.

Islamic State Militants Want To Fight Putin - The Washington Post

Here's a slightly new geopolitical wrinkle. Earlier this week, the Islamic State issued a video challenging a powerful global leader. But this time, it was not President Obama or one of his counterparts in Europe. It was Russian President Vladimir Putin.

In the video, fighters pose atop Russian military equipment, including a fighter jet, captured from the forces of Syrian President Bashar al-Assad. This is Agence France-Presse's transcription of what follows:
"This is a message to you, oh Vladimir Putin, these are the jets that you have sent to Bashar, we will send them to you, God willing, remember that," said one fighter in Arabic, according to Russian-language captions provided in the video.

"And we will liberate Chechnya and the entire Caucasus, God willing," said the militant. "The Islamic State is and will be and it is expanding God willing."

"Your throne has already teetered, it is under threat and will fall when we come to you because Allah is truly on our side."
Russia is an old ally of the Assad regime and maintains its only remaining naval facility on the Mediterranean in the Syrian port of Tartus. In the initial stages of the Syrian conflict, Putin's government urged reconciliation and dialogue with the Assad regime, but rapprochement with the opposition never came to pass. Russia is Assad's primary source for military hardware.

The jihadists' reference to Chechnya and the Caucasus should not be a surprise. The Chechen insurgency has gone deep underground -- the worst of the open violence was more than a decade ago -- but Russia's heavy-handed rule over the North Caucasus has radicalized some in this Muslim-majority borderland. Fears of Caucasus-related terrorism haunted the buildup to this year's Winter Olympics in the Russian Black Sea resort of Sochi.

Islamic State - Rational Wiki

"The Islamic State,[1] previously Islamic State in Iraq and the Levant (or ISIL), formerly known as the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (or ISIS), and, before that the Islamic State in Iraq (they really like changing their name[2] is a Jihadist terrorist group operating in Iraq and Syria claiming to be a Caliphate. Founded by Abu Musab al-Zarqawi, it grew out of al-Qaeda in Iraq[3] (formerly the "Group for Monotheism and Jihad") after its split and rebuke by al-Qaeda commanders in April 2013[4] for excess brutality. The group continues to hold its designation as a foreign terrorist organization by the United States Department of State.[5] Its current leader, Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi,[6] said to be a former member of the Fedayeen Saddam,[wp] was broken out of Abu Ghraib prison in July 2013 by ISIL along with several hundred experienced jihadists.[7] On June 30, 2014 they declared a Sunni caliphate with Baghdadi as the
“Commander of the Faithful,” a term essentially declaring him leader of all Muslims.

They truly rose as a powerful clique during the ongoing Syrian civil war. They carved out an enormous swathe of territory between Syria and Iraq, including weapons abandoned by fleeing soldiers, banks, money - everything that makes them, effectively, Al Qaeda on steroids. It is responsible for ethnic cleansing of all sects they disagree with, as well as consistent civilian causalities in their quest for power. They give all civilians the option of forced conversion to their particular interpretation of Islam, to be extorted, or death. Sometimes they execute converts as a way to keep them pure. The brutality is such that an entire group of people absolutely no one heard of before August of 2014 (well, kinda), the Yazidis, are at risk of genocide.

This page will be updated as the situation unfolds. In the meantime, rest assured that they are bad news. Unlike most terrorist organizations, ISIS has been documented to be well-funded and it's fanatical soldiers are said to be surprisingly competent fighters who are "very professional, well trained, motivated and equipped. They operate like a state with a military."[8] So bad, in fact, that the US, Russia, Syria, Iran, the Kurdish nationalists of Iraq and Syria, and the Kurdish Communists of the PKK are all cooperating against them. Indeed, their own members have left, disaffected by the degree of extremism; even al-Nusra Front, which uses child soldiers, split with them and began fighting them (they still want to kill you too, though). When they do eventually fall apart, the cause will be clear." -ISIS/Islamic State via Rational Wiki

Obama Says US Will 'Degrade and Ultimately Defeat' ISIS Like Al Qaeda -ABC News

"The militant group, also known as ISIS, “poses a long-term threat to the safety and security of NATO members,” Obama said at a press conference in Newport, Wales. “We have a critical role to play in rolling back this savage organization.”

The president advocated systematically “taking the fight to” ISIS in much the same way the U.S. combated al Qaeda.

“You initially push them back, you systematically degrade their capabilities, you narrow their scope of action, you slowly shrink the space, the territory that they control, you take out their leadership, and over time, they are not able to conduct the same kinds of terrorist attacks that they once could,” Obama said, adding that U.S. combat troops would not be deployed to the region.

“I don’t think that’s necessary for us to accomplish our goal,” he said. Instead, the American military will work to strengthen Iraqi and Syrian forces already on the ground.

Obama also called for a “strategic communications effort so that we are discouraging people from thinking that [ISIS] represents a state, much less a caliphate.”

“That’s not what Islam is about,” he added.

Obama, in Wales for a NATO summit, joined British Prime Minister David Cameron on Thursday in pressing the alliance to stand firm against ISIS’ “brutal and poisonous extremism.”

In a London Times Op-Ed, the leaders panned an “isolationist approach” and vowed that America and Britain “will not be cowed” by ISIS.

“Whether it is regional aggression going unchecked or the prospect that foreign fighters could return from Iraq and Syria to pose a threat in our countries, the problems we face today threaten the security of British and American people,” they wrote.

Obama, who has authorized over 100 airstrikes to aid Iraqi and Kurdish forces combating ISIS in Iraq
, last week acknowledged “we don’t have a strategy yet” to confront the militant group in neighboring Syria." -ABC News

Eye On ISIS

Eye On ISIS - A World Crisis At Large

A General FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions) About ISIS

1. What is ISIS?

To sum Isis up in the most basic sense they are an illigeal Islamic based terrorist group/regime that subscribes to an evil ideology, mindset and ways of life, this group/regime terrorizes innocent people, persecutes them and uses various means to torture and kill them, including groups such as Christians, Jews, other Muslims, Americans, Israeli's, anti-Isis rebels, etc. They will often in cases of not killing these people either banish them/exile them from their own land/houses/areas/places of living, impose taxes on them, make them convert to their own perverted way of life, etc.

Isis is based in The Middle East, mainly Iraq, Afghanistan and Syria, with leaders and supporters in other areas and countries such as Africa, The UK, etc.

"The group has had a number of different names since its formation in early 2004 as Jama?at al-Taw?id wa-al-Jihad, "The Organization of Monotheism and Jihad" (JTJ).

In October 2004, the group's leader Abu Musab al-Zarqawi swore loyalty to Osama bin Laden and changed the name of the group to Tan?im Qa?idat al-Jihad fi Bilad al-Rafidayn, "The Organization of Jihad's Base in the Country of the Two Rivers," more commonly known as "Al-Qaeda in Iraq" (AQI). Although the group has never called itself "Al-Qaeda in Iraq", this name has frequently been used to describe it through its various incarnations.

In January 2006, AQI merged with several smaller Iraqi insurgent groups under an umbrella organization called the "Mujahideen Shura Council." This was little more than a media exercise and an attempt to give the group a more Iraqi flavour and perhaps to distance al-Qaeda from some of al-Zarqawi's tactical errors, notably the 2005 bombings by AQI of three hotels in Amman. Al-Zarqawi was killed in June 2006, after which the group's direction shifted again.

On 12 October 2006, the Mujahideen Shura Council joined four more insurgent factions and the representatives of a number of Iraqi Arab tribes, and together they swore the traditional Arab oath of allegiance known as ?ilf al-Mu?ayyabin ("Oath of the Scented Ones"). During the ceremony, the participants swore to free Iraq's Sunnis from what they described as Shia and foreign oppression, and to further the name of Allah and restore Islam to glory.

On 13 October 2006, the establishment of the Dawlat al-?Iraq al-Islamiyah, "Islamic State of Iraq" (ISI) was announced. A cabinet was formed and Abu Abdullah al-Rashid al-Baghdadi became ISI's figurehead emir, with the real power residing with the Egyptian Abu Ayyub al-Masri.[95] The declaration was met with hostile criticism, not only from ISI's jihadist rivals in Iraq, but from leading jihadist ideologues outside the country. Al-Baghdadi and al-Masri were both killed in a US–Iraqi operation in April 2010. The next leader of the ISI was Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, the current leader of ISIS.

On 9 April 2013, having expanded into Syria, the group adopted the name "Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant", also known as "Islamic State of Iraq and al-Sham." The name is abbreviated as ISIS or alternately ISIL. The final "S" in the acronym ISIS stems from the Arabic word Sham (or Shaam), which in the context of global jihad refers to the Levant or Greater Syria. ISIS was also known as al-Dawlah ("the State"), or al-Dawlat al-Islamiyah ("the Islamic State"). These are short-forms of the name "Islamic State of Iraq and al-Sham" in Arabic; it is similar to calling "the United States of America" "the States."

ISIS's detractors, particularly in Syria, refer to the group as "Da'ish" or "Daesh", (????), a term that is based on an acronym formed from the letters of the name in Arabic, al-Dawla al-Islamiya fi Iraq wa al-Sham. The group considers the term derogatory and reportedly uses flogging as a punishment for people who use the acronym in ISIS-controlled areas.

On 14 May 2014, the United States Department of State announced its decision to use "Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant" (ISIL) as the group's primary name. The debate over which acronym should be used to designate the group, ISIL or ISIS, has been discussed by several commentators. Ishaan Tharoor from The Washington Post concluded: "In the larger battlefield of copy style controversies, the distinction between ISIS or ISIL is not so great."

On 29 June 2014, the establishment of a new caliphate was announced, with Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi named as its caliph, and the group formally changed its name to the "Islamic State".

In late August 2014, a leading Islamic authority Dar al-Ifta al-Misriyyah advised Muslims to stop calling the group "Islamic State" and instead refer to it as "Al-Qaeda Separatists in Iraq and Syria" or "QSIS", due to the militant group's un-Islamic character." (Source: ISIS via Wikipedia)

3. What Is ISIS About And Why Do Certain People Support It?

Again, see #1 & #2 above, also Isis is about waging a holy war (A "Jihad")
against all they deem "unholy" or "evil" but the end goal is to get people to
follow their very evil itself and corrupt way of life based on man made rules,
terrorism, crime, murder and other criminal/terrorist acts.

4. Why Does ISIS Exist?

Quite simply, to wage holy war (Again, a "Jihad") against The West for
their own reasons, mainly revenge, retaliation for other terrorists killed
and to impose a false way of life on others under their control and regime..

5. What Is The History Of ISIS And It's Origins?

"Jama'at al-Tawhid wal-Jihad (abrreviated JTJ or shortened to Tawhid and Jihad, Tawhid wal-Jihad, sometimes Tawhid al-Jihad, Al Tawhid or Tawhid) was started in 1999 by Abu Musab al-Zarqawi and a combination of foreigners and local Islamist sympathizers.[74] Al-Zarqawi was a Jordanian Salafi Jihadist who had traveled to Afghanistan to fight in the Soviet-Afghan War, but he arrived after the departure of the Soviet troops and soon returned to his homeland. He eventually returned to Afghanistan, running an Islamic militant training camp near Herat.

Al-Zarqawi started the network with the intention of overthrowing the Kingdom of Jordan, which he considered to be un-Islamic according to the four schools of Sunni Islamic jurisprudence. For this purpose he developed numerous contacts and affiliates in several countries. Although it has not been verified, his network may have been involved in the late 1999 plot to bomb the Millennium celebrations in the United States and Jordan. However, al-Zarqawi's operatives were responsible for the assassination of US diplomat Laurence Foley in Jordan in 2002.

Following the US-led invasion of Afghanistan, al-Zarqawi moved westward into Iraq, where he reportedly received medical treatment in Baghdad for an injured leg. It is believed that he developed extensive ties in Iraq with Ansar al-Islam ("Partisans of Islam"), a Kurdish Islamic militant group based in the extreme northeast of the country. Ansar allegedly had ties to Iraqi Intelligence; Saddam Hussein's motivation would have been to use Ansar as a surrogate force to repress secular Kurds fighting for the independence of Kurdistan.[192] In January 2003, Ansar's founder Mullah Krekar denied any connection with Saddam's government.

The consensus of intelligence officials has since been that there were no links whatsoever between al-Zarqawi and Saddam, and that Saddam viewed Ansar al-Islam "as a threat to the regime"[194] and his intelligence officials were spying on the group. The 2006 Senate Report on Pre-war Intelligence on Iraq concluded: "Postwar information indicates that Saddam Hussein attempted, unsuccessfully, to locate and capture al-Zarqawi and that the regime did not have a relationship with, harbor, or turn a blind eye toward al-Zarqawi." According to Michael Weiss, Ansar entered Iraqi Kurdistan through Iran as part of Iran's covert attempts to destabilize Saddam's government.

Following the 2003 US-led invasion of Iraq, JTJ developed into an expanding militant network for the purpose of resisting the coalition occupation forces and their Iraqi allies. It included some of the remnants of Ansar al-Islam and a growing number of foreign fighters. Many foreign fighters arriving in Iraq were initially not associated with the group, but once they were in the country they became dependent on al-Zarqawi's local contacts." 6. How Does ISIS Operate/What Is Their Chain Of Command?

Isis operates like any other terrorist group and in numerous ways
through numerous methods (numerous books and websites can be
found that explain this, if you use Google and look on both goodreads
and Amazon.com though I will try and put up links to some of them
plus check your local library as well don't forget).

The following list is taken from:
http://english.alarabiya.net/en/News/2014/02/13/Exclusive-Top-ISIS-leaders-revealed.html

Top ISIS Leaders Reveled:

1- Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi
His real name is Ibrahim al-Badri, also formerly known as Abu Douaa, was a lecturer of Islamic studies and an Imam at mosques in Bagdad and Falluja before he was detained by American forces on June 4, 2004. After his release three years later, he established the “Sunni Army” militia and joined al-Qaeda. He became the group’s third in command following the death of Abu Omar al-Baghdadi.

2- Abu Ayman al-Iraqi

Al-Iraqi is one of the main leaders of the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS) and a member of the organization’s military council. He previously worked as a colonel in Iraq’s air defense intelligence under Saddam Hussein, during which time he was nicknamed Abu Muhannad al-Suweidawi. He was detained for three years in 2007. Following his release, he moved to Syria and is currently commanding ISIS fighters in the cities of Edlib, Aleppo and the mountains of Lattakia.

3- Abu Ahmad al-Alwani

A former member of Saddam’s army, al-Alwani is currently a member of the ISIS military council. His real name is Waleed Jassem al-Alwani.

4- Abu Abdulrahman al-Bilawi

Al-Bilawi was one of the four members of the ISIS military council and former head of the group’s Shura council. Hailing from al-Khalidiya in Iraq’s Anbar province, he was detained on Jan. 27, 2005 in the American military detention center, Camp Bucca. He was later killed in al-Khalidiya, Anbar. His real name was Adnan Ismael Najm.

5- Haji Bakr
Bakr was a former officer in Saddam’s army, charged with handling the development of weapons. He was later imprisoned at Camp Bucca and joined al-Qaeda after his release. Bakr was reportedly the strongest ISIS commander in Syria up until his recent death. His real name was Samir Abd Mouhammad al-Khleifawi.

6- Abu Fatima al-Jaheishi

Al-Jaheishi was initially in charge of the ISIS operations in southern Iraq before he moved to the northern city of Kirkuk. His real name is Ni'ma Abd Nayef al-Jabouri."

Of course their are other leaders in the ISIS chain of command and hierarchy.

7. What Areas Are Under ISIS Influence/Control?

Parts of: Syria, Iraq, Afghanistan, Jordan, Israel, Palestine, Lebanon, Cyprus
and part of southern Turkey but not counting other areas in The Middle East
where sleeper agents (or undercover ones of Isis) may be secretly operating.

Basically the whole Levant region or most of it as far as I know and from my sources
of info.

8. Whom Are The Founders Of ISIS?

According to my own research (mostly via Google but other sources as well)
the main founder of ISIS is none other then...

A man named  Abu Ayyub al-Masri
Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant, Founder

Of course almost every major (and minor) terrorist organization almost always has more then one founder.

9. Why Is ISIS Waging A War Against The West? (i.e. America, Canada, The UK, Europe, etc)

There are many reasons why this terror group dislikes the West, one reason is anti-Semitism (i.e. That America supports a Jewish state such as Israel) but other reasons may include what their radical religious teachings tell them, a belief in Jihad against others they may deem unholy or unworthy of life, hatred, fear, contempt, etc. based on peer pressure, radical teachings, urban legends, upbringing, etc. about The West and other religious/ethnic groups of people.

10. Why Does ISIS Behead And Murder People?

Their belief in Jihad or Holy War and intense hatred.

11. What Are The Areas Of ISIS Operations And Influence?

The Middle East; Mainly Syria, Iraq, Afghanistan, Turkey (part of it)
other areas they may want to control are Jordan, Lebanon, Pakistan,
Iran, etc.

12. Do Most Muslims Support ISIS Or Not?

Both... Yes and No. Most Muslims and followers of Islam are peaceful people
but a certain percentage of Muslims and those whom subscribe to Islam do in
fact support terror groups such as ISIS, also this may include groups like Al Queda
and The Taliban, etc. combined with a general hostility to Western people, culture,
relgion, ways of life, living, society, dress, freedom, entertainment, etc.

13. What Is Syria, Iraq And Afghanistan Doing About ISIS?

Each country has their own strategy to deal with Isis which has so far
been only little effective, if at all.

14. What Is America And The UK Doing About ISIS?

Deploying drones, using airstrikes and Special Ops, until a more effective strategy
can be developed for dealing with them, mainly the use of numerous ground troops
in either a joint effort with NATO, The U.N. or a combined force with another country
or country's.

America and other Western nations are also keeping a close eye on Isis through the
use of satellite photos and other means of intelligence.

15. Any Statements About ISIS From President Obama, The U.N. Or The Pope, etc?

Pope Francis on Isis:

Pope Francis has acknowledged the possibility of military intervention in Iraq, where Islamists have terrorized Christians and other minorities. He stressed that any action must follow a consensus by multiple countries.

“In these cases, where there is an unjust aggression, I can only say that it is fair to stop the unjust aggressor. I underscore the verb ‘stop.’ I’m not saying ‘bomb’ or ‘make war,’ just ‘stop.’ And the means that can be used to stop them must be evaluated,”
said the Pontiff after touching down in Rome, following a visit to South Korea.

But the Catholic leader was keen to stress that he did not endorse using the current crisis in Iraq, which has been proclaimed a Caliphate by the hardline Sunni militia ISIS, as a pretext for a “war of conquest.”

“One nation alone cannot judge how you stop this, how you stop an unjust aggressor. After World War II, the idea of the United Nations came about: It’s there that you must discuss ‘Is there an unjust aggression? It seems so. How should we stop it?’ Just this. Nothing more.”

Pope Francis also revealed he and his advisers were considering whether he might go to northern Iraq to show solidarity with persecuted Christians. The decision has been currently held off, he said.

President Obama:

The U.S. is “going to degrade and ultimately defeat ISIL the same way we have gone after al Qaeda,” President Obama said of the terrorist group that recently took credit for beheading American journalists Steven Sotloff and James Foley.

The militant group, also known as ISIS, “poses a long-term threat to the safety and security of NATO members,” Obama said at a press conference in Newport, Wales. “We have a critical role to play in rolling back this savage organization.”

The president advocated systematically “taking the fight to” ISIS in much the same way the U.S. combated al Qaeda.

Joe Biden:

(CNN) -- Vice President Joe Biden on Wednesday issued a sharp warning to ISIS militants, saying after the United States is done grieving the death of two American journalists, their killers will have to answer for their actions.

"They should know we will follow them to the gates of hell until they are brought to justice," he forcefully told an audience at an event on the New Hampshire-Maine border. "Because hell is where they will reside. Hell is where they will reside."

Biden opened his remarks in memory of Steven Sotloff, the journalist who was beheaded by ISIS militants Tuesday, two weeks after James Foley was executed in the same horrific manner on video. Foley was from New Hampshire, while Sotloff lived there for boarding school.

16. What Is The Psychology And Motivation Behind ISIS?

See the following article:

Psychology: Deradicalizing Muslim terrorists

Sep 29, 2012 at 3:58am Uncategorized

As a prison psychologist I have dealt with more than a hundred criminal Muslims. Based on my professional experiences and conclusions, I have written extensively about the psychology of the Muslim mentality and violence, including being involved in the court case against the killer and Guantanamo prisoner Omar Khadr.
It is no secret that the Islamic texts, the Quran and the hadiths, are the main source of Islamic terror and crime: Islam teaches Muslims to hate, attack and kill non-Muslims, and it uses the same psychological tools to remove psychological hindrances to violence, as in all other kinds of warfare, by devaluing and demonizing the enemy. Combining mind-numbing repetition of hateful texts with a humiliating and violent upbringing in the family and in the Muslim madrassa schools is the ancient two-step recipe on how to break down human beings and make them submit to criminal doctrines and commit inhuman acts. Even the most cruel terrorist has also been an innocent child once, until he or she met with this classical method of brainwashing that has been integrated into many Muslim families, societies and schools.

But how to make a violent Muslim peaceful? This is probably one of the most important questions of our time, especially among people and authorities working with anti-terrorism.

Realizing the lack of and need for knowledge in this important area, I will here share my experience from working as a professional psychologist with more than hundred aggressive and violent Muslims.

As a psychologist I have not worked with convicted Muslim terrorists, so the advice that I give here is based on working with Muslims who have committed less radical types of crimes, including murder, attempted murder, arson and rape.

Violent behaviour, Islam and Muslim culture

Based on my experience, I found eight emotional indicators that are important when determining whether a Muslim may use violence or even turn to terror: anger, honor culture, victim mentality, identity, religiosity, responsibility for oneself, ability to regret and tolerance. Thus deradicalizing Muslims should aim to reduce the first five and increase the last three. Unfortunately, Islam and Muslim culture has a tendency to do the exact opposite. Deradicalizing Muslims is therefore not just about changing a political mindset, but to a large extent about limiting the influence of the culture and religion that fuels and partly constitutes their political mindset.

I have described several of these aspects in previous articles, such as “Report from the therapy room: Why are Muslims more violent and criminal?“.

Understanding and working with the eight emotional factors

Based on my work with criminal and violent Muslims, I will here describe eight psychological factors that contribute to violent behavior among Muslims. Many of the factors are also typical for non-Muslim criminals brought up in a family with dysfunctional patterns. I will mention them here with three subdivisions: a) describing the mental factor. b) describing how Islam and/or Muslim culture enhances this factor. c) describing the sign.

Anger:

a) Anger is a driving force behind most types of violence, including terror. Other emotions and ideas might be involved as well, but anger is almost always present, often as the most dominant emotion.

b) Muslims and anger. During therapy with violent Muslims it became clear that anger and aggression is much more accepted among Muslims. Contrary to Western culture, people brought up in Muslim societies see anger less as a sign of weakness than non-Muslims do. Anger is seen as a sign of strength and source of respect — not a reason for ridicule and loss of social status as in Western culture. Therefore Muslims do not limit their aggressive emotions to the same degree as we do, and they see non-aggressive responses to aggression as a sign of cowardice and a weakness that can be exploited further.

c) Indicator. Signs of anger is a indicator when looking for risk of violent behavior.

Honor culture:

a) Cultures that build on the clan cultural concept of honor have a tendency to create aggressive and insecure individuals ready to use violence to protect the inherent fragility of honor.
b) Honor has an essential place in Muslim culture, and Muslims are expected by both themselves and their Muslim surroundings to react aggressively if they or whatever they identify themselves with or represent (family, clan, area, culture, religion) is criticised or under (perceived) attack.
c) A strong concept of honor increases the risk of violent behaviour.

Victim mentality:

a) A driving force among most types of terrorists, including Muslim terrorists, is victim mentality. People seeing themselves as victims being treated unfairly by hostile powers often see their situation as an excuse for going beyond the law, generally accepted social behaviour and responsibility for ones own actions (one is “forced” by the enemy to act violently).

b) Experiencing oneself as being under the influence of outer imagined or real forces, whether it is Allah, conspiring non-Muslims or religious rules and cultural traditions, is a mindset pervading Muslim culture. A large German study showed “a distinct victim mentality and heightened acceptance of violence among [Muslim] youth” and that among “Muslim youth who maintain Muslim religious affiliation, one finds that a greater amount of violence is acceptable.”

c) Sign of victim mentality is an indicator for violent behavior.

Identity:

a) Identification with a religion increases the tendency to take it personally when one perceives the religion as being under attack.

b) My experience from working with criminal Muslims, even though many of them were not practicing their religion actively, is that Muslims identify themselves very strongly with Islam and the Muslim community worldwide. This is why criminal Muslims almost never — unless it concerns rivaling gangs or women — attack other Muslims.

c) Identification with the Muslim community increases the tendency to take it personally and react when one perceives Islam or Muslims as being under attack.

Religiosity:

a) All through history religions have proven to be able to make people do what they would not have done without their religion — positive or negative.

b) Since the Quran and the culture in most Muslim societies preaches aversion and in some cases even violence against non-Muslims, the degree of religiosity among Muslims is an important factor when deciding the risk of violent behaviour. A German study involving intense interviews with more than 40,000 people concluded that practising Islam increases anger and risk of violent behavior.

c) Strong religious feelings and the strong influence of a traditional Muslim upbringing is thus an important indicator when trying to identify and discover the tendency to use violence among Muslims and protect Islam against criticism and attacks.

Responsibility:

a) The ability to feel responsibility for oneself is important for the ability to display positive behaviour. The less people feel responsible for their own actions, the more they are likely to act unacceptably, since they do not feel that they themselves deserve to face the consequences and do not feel guilty.

b) A defining characteristic of Islam and Muslim culture is the lack of responsibility for oneself. According to Islam everything happens inshallah (Allah willing) and individual freedom is substituted by religious rules, cultural traditions and the authority of the family and clan. Muslims to a large extend obey the expectations of their religion, culture, family and clan. As a result inner locus of control (experiencing oneself as being in control of one’s life) is very weak while outer locus of control (experiencing outer factors as being in control of one’s life) is strong.

c) Lack of responsibility for oneself is important when determining risk of criminal behaviour.

Regret:

a) Being able to feel and express regret for one’s own negative words and actions is crucial, especially when trying to determine the risk of recidivism (committing crime again after having served a sentence or being trained to abide by the law).

b) Since a victim mentality and a low amount of responsibility for oneself is characteristic of people brought up in the Muslim culture, regret is not characteristic. If one does not take responsibility for one’s own actions, one simply can not fully regret them, as sincere regret includes insight into one’s own role in the harm done.

c) Expression of regret based on insight into one’s own role in the situation is an important indicator when trying to determine the risk of recidivism.

Tolerance:

a) Tolerance is important when it comes to respect for others. Low tolerance often decreases respect and increases the likelihood of harming people. A classical psychological maneuver to make soldiers more able to harm the enemy is to lower their respect towards the enemy by spreading derogatory propaganda about him.

b) Islam and Muslim culture preaches intolerance towards non-Muslims, both in writing and as a way of living. Non-Muslims are categorized as inferior, and the Quran orders Muslims to suppress, attack and kill non-Muslims. Terrorists often act because of intolerance towards otherwise legal statements and actions.

c) The degree of tolerance is an important indicator when trying to determine the risk of violent behavior.

Working with the eight emotional factors

A necessary basis for human change is the realisation of the benefits of changing. Since many assailants by experience know that threats and violence can be much more effective in achieving one’s goal — and even feel the right to act threatening or violent — this it not always an easy task.

Everybody knows that changing one’s views and habits does not happen by itself. It takes a conscious effort, and normally no radical and lasting changes happen unless we want to and make the necessary and often demanding effort. Often people are not always ready or willing to change. In these cases it is by doing — or being tricked into doing — things that maybe only indirectly point to the goal that one gets closer to the point where one can work on changing oneself more consciously, in a targeted manner and voluntarily.
Here are some of the things that I have worked with and would advise using for treatment of convicted Muslim criminals and terrorists.

Even though the psychological factors are clearly defined, my estimation is that even with very competent therapists, only few attempts of deradicalization are successful. This is because radical Muslims both have to want it, dare to go against the their own radical network and be able to go through the hard and extensive psychological and practical processes of abandoning psychological, cultural and religious factors deeply rooted in their upbringing and lifestyle, in order to deradicalize.

Anger:

My experience from working with Muslims is that many have a heightened readiness to react to perceived threats. This includes the unpleasant bodily and mental feelings that often accompany anger, such as stress, anxiety, restlessness, lowered mood and unpleasant feelings in the head, heart area, stomach and other places. Throughout the therapy, I also managed to make many of the Muslim clients aware of the negative personal consequences that stem from angry behaviour, such as loss of friends, problems with the authorities, and the lack of ability to communicate the way one wants when angry.

Mindfulness exercises that relax the body (lying on a mattress, listening to relaxing music and being guided to tighten and relax the different muscle groups from toes to face) helped the clients to become more aware of their tensions and the unpleasant feelings that come from anger. The immediate benefits of relaxing by being less angry thus became evident to many of them — they fell asleep, in spite of normally having great difficulties falling asleep.

Some of the Muslim clients were also open to learning ways of handling conflicts and irritation other than using threats and physical violence through psychoeducation.

I would not be surprised if anger-reducing medicine is one day be used on violent extremists — individually or as a non-lethal weapon dropped on violent masses from airplanes.

Honor culture:

Protecting honor is a defining characteristic of Muslim culture and has been the cause of countless killings of women, non-Muslims and Muslims from other families, clans and sects.
Since a fragile sense of honor is closely related to low self-esteem, improving peoples’ self-esteem is vital to make them less emotionally vulnerable to criticism. Of course, Muslim culture itself has a strong tendency to instill its world-famous fragile sense of honor in Muslims, but unsolved childhood traumas can be an important key. Learning social behaviour that increases positive feedback and healthy pride can also help.

Victim mentality and responsibility:

During my work with violent Muslims I realized the need for developing a therapeutic tool that decreases victim mentality and increases responsibility. For the tool to be useful it had to be simple and structured, because people brought up in cultures or families less familiar with psychology and the benefits of expressing inner states often find normal therapy meaningless or even confusing. I developed a four-step model that can also be visualized on a piece of paper or a white board. The four steps show how experiences awaken emotions, which motivate actions that have consequences that are experienced — etc.

The steps are drawn and written in a circle, with step 1 at the top (12 o’clock), step 2 at 3 o’clock, step 3 at 6 o’clock and step 4 at 9 o’clock.

Step 1: The client is presented with a timeline on a paper or white board, going from birth until now. Above the timeline positive experiences are written, and below it, the negative.

Step 2: The client is asked to describe the emotions connected with the experiences. These are all listed below step 2 on the paper.

Step 3: The client is then asked what he did and normally does when he has the different emotions mentioned at step 2.

Step 4: The client is asked to describe what emotional and practical consequences these actions had and generally have.

This model makes it possible — also visually — for the client to see the connection between the way that he reacts to experiences and what he experiences. Depending on the client, this can help him to get insight into the mechanisms of responsibility for himself.

Identity:

Identity is one of the deepest rooted psychological phenomena, and changing this is not easy. The problem with radical Muslims is that they identify with Islam and the Muslim ummah to such an extent that they perceive themselves as being under attack, no matter how and where Islam or Muslims are criticised or attacked. This includes a very strong loyalty that makes them prone to react violently when this happens.
I do not have any useful suggestions at this point except for maybe showing Muslim extremists that the biggest enemies of Muslims are other Muslims: nobody kills more Muslims than Muslims, and nobody oppresses Muslims more than the Muslim rulers of Muslim countries. The “one ummah, one body” slogan put forward by the self-proclaimed defenders of Islam against the West must be seen in light of the fact that Muslims are far from being one single unit protecting each others’ back.

Religiosity:

Muslim terrorists are most often very well versed in the Islamic scriptures, and trying to make them think that certain parts of the Quran should be seen from a historical perspective and not as guidelines in the modern world is futile. Since leaving Islam is punishable by death, one has to be able to present very convincing protection programmes to whoever considers leaving this religion.
Decreasing religiosity in Muslims who take the Quran literally is impossible as long as they are able to indoctrinate themselves and each other with the Islamic texts and practises. It can be necessary to deprive them of the source that fuels their hate and political ideas.
Making it so difficult to practise orthodox and therefore illegal Islam in our countries that they need to go elsewhere if they want to continue their way of life is a solution.

Ability to regret:

The ability to regret is necessary in order to change one’s habits and feel empathy with others. The victim mentality and a lowered sense of responsibility for oneself decrease the ability to feel regret.
In many countries around the world, victims and offenders are offered a chance to meet, and in many cases it has a healing effect on both parties. Realizing the harm that one has done makes one able to regret and apologize, which is psychologically healthy. I think everybody knows the relief that follows when one has finally gotten oneself together and given an honest apology to somebody we hurt.

Again a four-step procedure can be helpful.

1) Realizing. First one has to realize that what one has done is wrong. Meeting with victims or survivors, reading about their suffering and that of their families, and knowing that innocent people were harmed is helpful to realize one’s wrongdoing.

2) Admitting. Having reached a point where one can give an honest acknowledgment of one’s actions, one simply does so. If one is not able to meet the victim in person, one can write a letter or give a public statement.

3) Regretting. After having admitted one’s fault, one is ready to make the important step of deciding to never repeat one’s mistake.

4) Opposite. In leaving one’s habits behind, the last thing that has to be done to finalize the psychological process of regretting is to do the opposite. If one has previously harmed or hated a certain group of people, one starts helping them — etc.

Going through these four steps may not feel very honorable or pleasant for the ego, but if one makes it through all four steps, one is truly reborn as a better citizen.

Tolerance:

Tolerance is important because Muslim terrorism if fueled by intolerance toward non-Muslims and non-Islamic values and societies. Since intolerance are often created by misunderstanding, creating understanding is a very effective way to tolerance.

I wish I had had movies showing normal non-Muslims’ way of life in their families’ daily lives when working with criminal Muslims’ anger against non-Muslims. Showing the innocent, happy and constructive lives of normal Danish children and parents would have been an eye-opener for them. There are so many lies and myths in the Muslim communities about Westerners, and removing them will surely increase Muslims’ tolerance towards us.

21. What Crimes/War Crimes/Human Rights Abuses Is ISIS Guilty Of?

"Human rights abuses

ISIS compels people in the areas it controls, under the penalty of death, torture or mutilation, to declare Islamic creed, and live according to its interpretation of Sunni Islam and sharia law. It directs violence against Shia Muslims, indigenous Assyrian, Chaldean, Syriac and Armenian Christians, Yazidis, Druze, Shabaks and Mandeans in particular.

Treatment of civilians

During the Iraqi conflict in 2014, ISIS released dozens of videos showing its ill treatment of civilians, many of whom had apparently been targeted on the basis of their religion or ethnicity. Navi Pillay, UN High Commissioner for Human Rights, warned of war crimes occurring in the Iraqi war zone, and disclosed one UN report of ISIS militants murdering Iraqi Army soldiers and 17 civilians in a single street in Mosul. The United Nations reported that in the 17 days from 5 to 22 June, ISIS killed more than 1,000 Iraqi civilians and injured more than 1,000. After ISIS released photographs of its fighters shooting scores of young men, the United Nations declared that cold-blooded "executions" said to have been carried out by militants in northern Iraq almost certainly amounted to war crimes.

ISIS's advance in Iraq in mid-2014 was accompanied by continuing violence in Syria. On 29 May, a village in Syria was raided by ISIS and at least 15 civilians were killed, including, according to Human Rights Watch, at least six children.[326] A hospital in the area confirmed that it had received 15 bodies on the same day. The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights reported that on 1 June, a 102-year-old man was killed along with his whole family in a village in Hama.

ISIS has recruited to its ranks Iraqi children, who can be seen with masks on their faces and guns in their hands patrolling the streets of Mosul.

Sexual violence allegations

According to one report, ISIS's capture of Iraqi cities in June 2014 was accompanied by an upsurge in crimes against women, including kidnap and rape. The Guardian reported that ISIS's extremist agenda extended to women's bodies and that women living under their control were being captured and raped. Hannaa Edwar, a leading women’s rights advocate in Baghdad who runs an NGO called al-Amal, said that none of her contacts in Mosul were able to confirm any cases of rape; however, another Baghdad-based women's rights activist, Basma al-Khateeb, said that a culture of violence existed in Iraq against women generally and felt sure that sexual violence against women was happening in Mosul involving not only ISIS but all armed groups. During a meeting with Nouri al-Maliki, British Foreign Minister William Hague said with regard to ISIS: "Anyone glorifying, supporting or joining it should understand that they would be assisting a group responsible for kidnapping, torture, executions, rape and many other hideous crimes". According to Martin Williams in The Citizen, some hard-line Salafists apparently regard extramarital sex with multiple partners as a legitimate form of holy war and it is "difficult to reconcile this with a religion where some adherents insist that women must be covered from head to toe, with only a narrow slit for the eyes". Yezidi girls in Iraq were allegedly raped by ISIS fighters, and subsequently committed suicide, as described in a witness statement recorded by Rudaw.

War crimes accusations

The BBC reported the UN's chief investigator as stating: "Fighters from the Islamic State in Iraq and the Levant (Isis) may be added to a list of war crimes suspects in Syria".

Guidelines for civilians

After the self-proclaimed Islamic State captured cities in Iraq, ISIS issued guidelines on how to wear clothes and veils. ISIS warned women in the city of Mosul to wear full-face veils or face severe punishment. A cleric told Reuters in Mosul that ISIS gunmen had ordered him to read out the warning in his mosque when worshippers gathered.[339] ISIS also banned naked mannequins and ordered the faces of both male and female mannequins to be covered. ISIS released 16 notes labeled "Contract of the City", a set of rules aimed at civilians in Nineveh. One rule stipulated that women should stay at home and not go outside unless necessary. Another rule said that stealing would be punished by amputation.

Christians living in areas under ISIS control who wanted to remain in the "caliphate" faced three options, converting to Islam, paying a religious levy—jizya—or death. "We offer them three choices: Islam; the dhimma contract – involving payment of jizya; if they refuse this they will have nothing but the sword", ISIS said. ISIS had already set similar rules for Christians in Ar-Raqqah, Syria, once one of the nation's most liberal cities." (Source: ISIS via Wikipedia)

22. Is ISIS Related To The Taliban Or Al Queda?

Both yes and no. But even Al Queda has now condemned Isis
for it's views and behavior are much more barbaric, violent and
extreme even for Al Queda's tastes.

23. What Is ISIS Goal? What Are ISIS Main Goals and Tactics?

"From its beginnings the establishment of a pure Islamic state has been one of the group's main goals.[120] According to journalist Sarah Birke, one of the "significant differences" between Al-Nusra Front and ISIS is that ISIS "tends to be more focused on establishing its own rule on conquered territory". While both groups share the ambition to build an Islamic state, ISIS is "far more ruthless ... carrying out sectarian attacks and imposing sharia law immediately". ISIS finally achieved its goal on 29 June 2014, when it removed "Iraq and the Levant" from its name, began to refer to itself as the Islamic State, and declared the territory which it occupied in Iraq and Syria a new caliphate.

In mid-2014, the group released a video entitled "The End of Sykes–Picot" featuring an English-speaking Chilean national named Abu Safiyya. The video announced the group's intention to eliminate all modern borders between Islamic Middle Eastern countries; this was a reference to the borders set by the Sykes–Picot Agreement during World War I."

This is also followed by:

"The stated goals of JTJ were: (i) to force a withdrawal of coalition forces from Iraq; (ii) to topple the Iraqi interim government; (iii) to assassinate collaborators with the occupation regime; (iv) to remove the Shia population and defeat its militias because of its death-squad activities; and (v) to establish subsequently a pure Islamic state.

JTJ differed considerably from the other early Iraqi insurgent groups in its tactics. Rather than using only conventional weapons and guerrilla tactics in ambushes against the US and coalition forces, it relied heavily on suicide bombings, often using car bombs. It targeted a wide variety of groups, especially the Iraqi Security Forces and those facilitating the occupation. Groups of workers who have been targeted by JTJ include Iraqi interim officials, Iraqi Shia and Kurdish political and religious figures, the country's Shia Muslim civilians, foreign civilian contractors, and United Nations and humanitarian workers. Al-Zarqawi's militants are also known to have used a wide variety of other tactics, including targeted kidnappings, the planting of improvised explosive devices, and mortar attacks. Beginning in late June 2004, JTJ implemented urban guerrilla-style attacks using rocket-propelled grenades and small arms. They also gained worldwide notoriety for beheading Iraqi and foreign hostages and distributing video recordings of these acts on the Internet." (Source: ISIS via Wikipedia)

24. What Is ISIS Ideology?

"ISIS is an extremist group that follows al-Qaeda's hard-line ideology and adheres to global jihadist principles. Like al-Qaeda and many other modern-day jihadist groups, ISIS emerged from the ideology of the Muslim Brotherhood, the world’s first Islamist group dating back to the late 1920s in Egypt. ISIS follows an extreme anti-Western interpretation of Islam, promotes religious violence and regards those who do not agree with its interpretations as infidels and apostates. Concurrently, ISIS—now IS—aims to establish a Salafist-orientated Islamist state in Iraq, Syria and other parts of the Levant.

ISIS's ideology originates in the branch of modern Islam that aims to return to the early days of Islam, rejecting later "innovations" in the religion which it believes corrupt its original spirit. It condemns later caliphates and the Ottoman empire for deviating from what it calls pure Islam and hence has been attempting to establish its own caliphate. However, there are some Sunni commentators, Zaid Hamid, for example, and even Salafi and jihadi muftis such as Adnan al-Aroor and Abu Basir al-Tartusi, who say that ISIS and related terrorist groups are not Sunnis at all, but Kharijite heretics serving an imperial anti-Islamic agenda.

Salafists such as ISIS believe that only a legitimate authority can undertake the leadership of jihad, and that the first priority over other areas of combat, such as fighting against non-Muslim countries, is the purification of Islamic society. For example, when it comes to the Israeli–Palestinian conflict, since ISIS regards the Palestinian Sunni group Hamas as apostates who have no legitimate authority to lead jihad, it regards fighting Hamas as the first step toward confrontation with Israel." 38. A Tribute To All Those Killed By ISIS Terrorists

“He Is Not Dead

I cannot say, and I will not say
That he is dead. He is just away.
With a cheery smile, and a wave of the hand,
He has wandered into an unknown land
And left us dreaming how very fair
It needs must be, since he lingers there.
And you—oh you, who the wildest yearn
For an old-time step, and the glad return,
Think of him faring on, as dear
In the love of There as the love of Here.
Think of him still as the same. I say,
He is not dead—he is just away.”
James Whitcomb Riley

John 11:25-26

Jesus said to her, "I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in me will live, even though he dies;  and whoever lives and believes in me will never die. Do you believe this?"

Jewish inspired:

"Who is wise? One who learns from every man… Who is strong? One who overpowers his inclinations… Who is rich? One who is satisfied with his lot… Who is honorable? One who honors his fellows.” – Ben Zoma, Ethics of the Fathers, 4:1

39. Final Thoughts And Notes About ISIS

ISIS -  A Major Threat To The Middle East, America, Canada, The UK, Europe, Western Culture, Society and The Rest Of The World At Large

1. ISIS is a militia/cult, formed by charismatic extremist Islamic leaders and figures with anti-Western values, ideoogy, mindset and hatred hell bent on waging a holy war (What's called a "Jihad") and getting people to follow their rules, laws, culture and way of life which are inferior, unjust, unrighteous, immoral, unethical, ungodly, unholy, piggish, barbaric, demented, boring, insane, etc.

2. ISIS is a parasite, a cancer that is spread by brainwashing disenfranchised and angry and bored young men of Islamic faith and Middle Eastern descent from mainly The Middle East and The U.K. (Great Britian mainly) plus other countries as well with supporters of it's ideology and "Jihad" (meaning "Holy War").

3. ISIS leaders, commanders and soldiers seek to destroy life, property and terrorize the general populace of ISIS controlled areas  by imposing forced terrorism, taxes, threats of violence, death, expulsion and has carried out murderous tactics on Western journalists  and others (including Christians, other Muslims and Jews, etc).

ISIS crimes include murder, terrorism, kidnapping, threats, violence, bestiality, animal abuse and killing, stealing, and numerous other crimes  as well including, but not limited to: War crimes and crimes against Humanity, The Geneva Convention (and related) international laws.

4. ISIS members are mostly young Arab men of Islamic faith between 15-35 years of age (though some members may be older, some younger) and are recruited by charismatic ISIS members and leaders, by brainwashing and psychological techniques, peer pressure, intimidation, fear, money, anti-Western propaganda, lies, threats, etc.

5. ISIS is an illigeal militia and death cult that values (and uses) terrorism, death and destruction to rule over human life, freedom and peace.

6. ISIS must be condemned by all Western and non-Western people and leaders, The U.N., Rome and other countries as well this should include esp. Middle East nations such as Iraq, Afghanistan, Syria, Egypt, Jordan, Israel, Pakistan, etc.

7. ISIS military buildup and activity is increasing and so are illigeal funds to fund their rein of terrorism through numerous sources, methods, activities and means.

8. Airstrikes by drones and human pilots from the USAF plus other nations e.g. Russia, China, Canada, The UK, European States, etc. must be carried out on a daily if not weekly basis against ISIS targets and agents of terror.

9. A ground war may be necessary against this militia/cult/group of death and destruction, in addition to an air to ground war already mentioned above.

President Obama is weak on this issue, VP Joe Biden is much more vocal on it and seems not to be as weak.

10. Special Ops must take a part in this war as well from differing nations in a joint effort to take out ISIS leaders and commanders plus installations and bases as well.

11. An investigation needs to take place regarding where and from whom ISIS gets it's funds from and how to stop and deplete ISIS and it's sources of these funds and resources.

12. Another set of directives must be issued by all or most nations on not just offense but defense against ISIS, future terror attacks,  where ISIS would strike if outside The Middle East, what targets, landmarks, etc. it would target and how to stop it's cult, ideology and brainwashing of young, Islamic/Non-Islamic Middle Eastern Arabs (and Islamic/Non-Islamic Arabs from other areas too).

13. ISIS should be given an ultimatum by several nations not only condemning them but making them an illigeal entity like the Nazi's were and outlawing them, unless already done so.

14. Rebels fighting against ISIS must have the full support of not only most nations in The Middle East but also most nations around the world including America.

15. ISIS And all it's members activities should be closely monitored at all times by intelligence agencies around the world.

Note: Sorry if these are really obvious notes and insights, more might might added, any thoughts, comments or suggestions feel free to leave comments and ISIS supporters, members (and hackers too!) reading this, may you burn in either Hell or Oblivion unless you repent of your evil ways and renounce support for ISIS, a terror organization and cult of Violence, death and destruction that is based on hatred, lies, misinformation and a false way of life -R.K.
